On Sunday June 2nd, 2019 the Big Tree Vol. Fire Co. Inc. held its 65th Annual Memorial Service. Pastor Doug Ingresoll from the Wesleyan Church on South Park Ave., along with Stan Figiel, Big Tree Vol Fire Co. Inc., Chaplin preformed the services.

After the service, members of the Big Tree Vol. Fire Co. Inc held its Annual Ceremony honoring and remembering the members who have passed. With the membership standing at attention, Fire Fighter Bob Brown read the names of all the deceased members. As each name was read, Chief Kraig Blersch rang the Memorial Bell, and Assistant Chief Kristi Reed and President Robert Stoberl placed a Carnation in the memorial boots. The membership would like to thank the widows and the families that attended this service. It was an honor to have you here as we remembered and honored your loved ones. We would also like to thank all the special guests from the Town of Hamburg and Erie County who attended.
