Big Tree Volunteer Fire Company would like to remind our community that smoke from the Canadian wildfires is impacting air quality across Western New York today.![]()

Air quality may reach unhealthy levels, especially for children, older adults, pregnant individuals, and those with heart or lung conditions.![]()

Please take the following precautions:![]()
• Limit prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities.![]()
• Keep windows and doors closed whenever possible.![]()
• Run your air conditioning on the recirculate setting if available.![]()
• If you must be outside for an extended period, consider wearing a well-fitting N95 mask.![]()
• Check on family members, neighbors, and anyone who may be more vulnerable to poor air quality.![]()
