As we reflect on our year-over-year call response totals, the numbers highlight a troubling trend:![]()
2019: 1,258 calls![]()
2020: 1,296 calls![]()
2021: 1,540 calls![]()
2022: 1,896 calls![]()
2023: 2,202 calls![]()
2024: 2,573 calls![]()
This significant increase in call volume underscores the growing strain on our emergency response system. Many of these calls result from misuse of the emergency system, leading to unnecessary backups at local hospitals and delaying care for those truly in need.![]()

The company calculated a total of 212 calls for the month of November and 2573 this year through the end of December (mix of fire, ems and rescue)🚒🚑![]()

This was a record breaking year with 2573 calls in it! That’s an average of 215 calls a month or 7 a day!![]()
